About Janelle
I’m a mother of three who has spent over two decades navigating corporate environments, such as Nike, lululemon and the financial industry. I am currently prioritizing time with family and enjoy sharing my learnings with other women who are trying to find that complicated balance between work and life.
I believe in:
- Setting boundaries at work and at home.
- Challenging the status quo, or what society tells us we ‘should’ do.
- Life systems (i.e. habits and organizational tools) that bring ease, order and space into our day.
- Relentlessly prioritizing what matters most.
- Not taking life too seriously.
My pillars of peace are:
- Self-care
- Saying ‘no’
- Being true to my values
- Speaking my truth. Always.

What do you believe in? Let’s talk about it.
My Story
When I was in my early twenties, I wanted nothing more than to be a C-Suite leader at a multinational organization. And so, I found a slew of executive mentors who shared incredible advice and guidance, based on their lived experiences. The problem was none of those mentors were women. As my thirties rolled around, I found myself at the intersection of family, motherhood, career, and aspiration. For the first time in my life, I began to second-guess my abilities and question my identity. I gave up on my C-Suite goal. The competing priorities took a physical, emotional and psychological toll on my soul. And yet, in my forties I came out of the fog and navigated my way back to my goals and my authentic self. It wasn’t easy and it definitely wasn’t pretty. I learned a lot about self-care, self-love, setting boundaries, finding my voice and embracing my authentic self.
